The price will vary by hotel, obviously. There are the super-expensive resorts, like the St Regis and the Four Seasons, where you can easily spend a few thousand per night. Then there's the Pearl resort which is much less expensive.

When we went we stayed at the Intercontinental Le Moana and it was about $800 USD per night (the prices were actually listed in CPF, which is why I'm not sure of the exact amount). The rate included breakfast and dinner credits, but that's not always the case. If you go now you may find good deals since tourism is down.

You can always check the travel sites (Orbitz, Expedia, etc) to get an idea of how much a room might cost.

Just keep in mind that if you want the overwater bungalow experience, it won't come cheaply.
